Healthy, Cincinnati, engages in the sacred work of restoring people, community, and creation. We hope, through meaningful work and spiritual practices, Tikkun Farm offers our guests an experience of belonging and Belovedness.

Tikkun is a Hebrew word meaning “repair” or “restore.” The phrase Tikkun Olam captures the collective life purpose of the Jewish people to “repair the world.” This phrase has many layers of meaning from personal healing to global reconciliation. It recognizes that none of us passes through life without suffering. Inevitably, we will be hurt and cause harm. We heal and need healing. We live comfortably with this ambiguity and paradox. Our most sacred work involves partnering with Love to heal the wounds of the human journey. This includes repairing lives, structures, creation, bodies, relationships, neighborhoods, and nations. We do this by “remembering who we are,” beloveds, created by Love to be Love in the world.

As you get to know us, you will notice we have a lot going on. We feed families and heal souls. We train young people for jobs and gather spiritual pilgrims for sacred experiences. Visitors participate in yoga classes and repair fences. Guests can dig in our garden, practice meditation, or engage in reconciling conversations about race. We do more than “one thing” because Creation reveals the necessity of diversity for stability, resilience, and abundance. Natural ecosystems are a complex web of life where living organisms exist in beneficial relationships to each other. Monocultures, where only a single plant grows in a given area, do not exist naturally. They are an artificial human invention and ecologically unstable. Tikkun Farm’s diverse programming reflects the beautiful complexity and interconnectedness of all of life.

As you spend time here, you will notice opportunities to engage in meaningful work that repairs the world and in spiritual practices that restore our souls.
